Autism Certificate of Attendance Course: Understand How to Advance Cognitive Functioning, Sensory Processing Interventions, and Communications
Our five-part Autism Certificate of Attendance Course empowers professionals (school administrators, teachers, therapists) and parents with the knowledge to understand how the nervous system is impacted by neurobiological diagnoses. This includes Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other mental health diagnoses.
Our goal is to build understanding of affected brain centers and how signals sent through the nervous system can lead to meltdowns and challenging behaviors. You will learn practical concepts to stop reacting to behaviors and instead lead, de-escalate, and apply cognitive behavior therapy strategies that support a child's thinking in the moment.
Our professional training team includes special education consultants, occupational therapists, board certified behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, and speech language pathologists. We are committed to supporting administrators and teachers in implementing effective programs in the classroom and at home.
